The first company publication was The Down By The Sea Activity Book. Subsequently, the State of North Carolina contracted with The Cattail Company to develop an activity book for state visitors. As a result of these projects, The Cattail Company was contracted by Microsoft to act as a consultant on an educational CD/ROM game. Based on the popular television series Magic Schoolbus and titled Magic Schoolbus Oceans, the game was accompanied by several other games under the Magic Schoolbus umbrella. When the internet emerged as a medium for interactive content, the company began several ventures utilizing the web. One of the first was SkiPocono.com. This site became extremely popular during the winter months, logging nearly a million visits per year. Eventually the site was sold to a travel-consulting firm in Pennsylvania. The founders of The Cattail Company continue to remember their roots and the reason for founding the company. The company is presently developing an activity book for a Puerto Rican environmental conservancy. Among others, our clients include the University of Delaware, the Brandywine Conservancy, the Fair Hill Nature and Education Center, and Compact Membrane Systems, Inc.
